GRAND AUDITORIUM: Power & Balance

The Corsalini Guitars Grand Auditorium is designed to offer superior sound projection and a more energetic response, while maintaining the balance and comfort that distinguish every one of our creations.

Sound Character

Thanks to a body slightly larger than the Model F, this model develops a higher volume of air. The result is a wide sound projection with more pronounced lows, ideal for those who love strumming and accompaniment, without sacrificing the definition necessary for the most expressive fingerstyle.

Design / Ergonomics

Despite its dimensions, the Grand Auditorium remains an extremely comfortable instrument. Its versatility allows it to span different playing styles, always offering accurate frequency balancing and controlled dynamic response.

Technical Specifications / Customizations

Each Grand Auditorium is a unique piece, fully customizable to meet the musician’s needs.

  • Costruction: Entirely handmade with selected materials.
  • Tuners: Gotoh 510 for professional tuning stability.
  • Premium Options:
    • Multiscale (Fanned Frets): For optimal string tension and superior tonal definition, ideal for open tunings.
    • Arm Bevel: The ergonomic bevel for maximum arm comfort.
    • Florentine Cutaway: For easy access to the higher frets.

The Equilibrium of Pure Form

Chitarra acustica Corsalini Grand Auditorium Standard - Modello Short Scale con top in Abete e design classico

The Grand Auditorium Short Scale is designed for the musician seeking maximum comfort without sacrificing the typical projection of a GA body. The shorter scale length reduces string tension, offering incredibly soft playability and a warm tone rich in harmonics. It is the ideal choice for those who want a ‘parlor’ feel but with the volume and presence of a great concert guitar.

“The Grand Auditorium Short Scale is not just an instrument: it is a versatile traveling companion, capable of adapting to any playing style with elegance and power.”

In this Grand Auditorium, the Sinker Redwood (Sequoia) top offers an immediate response and a unique tonal sweetness. The standout feature of this instrument is the Multiscale (Fanned-Fret) fingerboard: a technical innovation that allows for optimal string tension and superior ergonomic comfort, following the natural movement of the hand. The Malaysian Blackwood back and sides wrap the sound in a frame of deep, defined bass.
